Purchase with Confidence
Let’s be honest, your golf cart seats go through a lot. Whether you're cruising the neighborhood, working, or out on the course, the seats are usually the first thing to show signs of wear. The good news? A quality set of seat covers can completely refresh the look and feel of your cart without a huge investment.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through the different seat cover options we offer so you can confidently choose what works best for you. We specialize in four main styles—diamond, pleated, seamed, and solid—and each one changes the look, feel, and comfort of the area you sit on.
Diamond Stitch (Premium Option)
Our diamond stitch is our premium option and a customer favorite for a reason. It adds about ½ inch of foam to your existing seats, giving you extra comfort while helping restore seats that may have become too firm or worn over time.
We sew all our diamond panels in-house, which means you can mix and match from a wide range of vinyl colors and thread options. The only materials we don’t offer in diamond stitch are Gator and Ostrich, since they have too much stretch (and let’s just say—they don’t play nice with the machines).
This option is also great for helping disguise minor imperfections like small holes or worn spots. The stitched pattern adds texture, which helps prevent sliding, and each transition from the outer panel to the diamond insert is finished with a double-reinforced seam for durability and a clean look.
Pleated
Pleated seat covers are a classic style often seen from the manufacturer. They feature 1/4 inch of added padding with horizontal lines heat-pressed into the material.
This option is available in a more limited range of solid colors, making it a great choice if you're looking for a simple refresh or a pop of color—especially on a budget. It works best for seats that are still in fair condition.
Like our other options, pleated covers include double-reinforced seams, and you can still choose custom thread colors to give your seats a personalized touch.
Seamed (Two-Tone Look)
If you want a custom look without adding extra foam, the seamed option is a great choice. This style allows you to combine two different vinyl colors, making it especially popular for Gator or Ostrich materials that can’t be diamond stitched or pleated.
Seamed covers are ideal for seats that are still in good shape with no major foam damage. The seams are double reinforced for strength and can be stitched in any thread color you choose—giving you that custom feel without changing the seat thickness.
Solid
Solid seat covers are exactly what they sound like. One clean, solid color with your choice of thread.
We design these covers specifically for each cart model, so they fit properly without the need to stretch and staple a flat piece of vinyl. Each cover includes a structured side panel (“box”) for a snug, finished fit.
This option is best for seats that don’t have major wear and just need a refresh. It’s also a great budget-friendly choice or perfect for anyone who prefers a more original, factory-style look.
Armrests
We also offer armrests for rear-facing seats, complete with built-in cup holders—because convenience matters too.
All of our design options (diamond, pleated, seamed, and solid) are available for armrests as well. The selected style is featured on the top, with a coordinating color on the sides for a clean, cohesive look.
Finishing Touch: Vinyl Backing & Staple Hide
For a polished, professional finish, we offer vinyl backing with matching staple hide. This is especially useful if your cart doesn’t have a plastic backing, has exposed wood, or came without one (like some Precedent and Yamaha models).
After installing your seat covers and trimming the excess material, the backing is placed over the staples to hide them. It’s then secured in place and trimmed as needed.
The final step is applying the staple hide—this is folded and stapled along the center to create a clean, finished edge. While it’s not meant to hold the cover in place, it adds that extra detail that really completes the look.
